About Our Vocational Program:

The Young Adult Program (YAP) provides a hands-on vocational program that helps students develop artwork products and gain life job skills. Our vocational program teaches students how to create a product, market the product, practice money exchange, and experience what it is like to create an income. The artwork also helps students with their fine motor skills and provides occupational therapy.

YAP staff helps include ALL students and adjusted activities to accommodate each student’s needs. The vocational program focuses on what students with disabilities CAN do!!

All proceeds go back into the Vocational Program to buy more supplies!

Most artwork is a collaboration between YAP staff and students

With the pandemic, our fundraiser sales will need to look different. If interested in purchasing a product, please go to our Facebook page (Kalamazoo RESA Vocational Program) and send us a message! It will be first come first served. Once you have messaged the Facebook page, we will set up a pick-up time (School hours) for you to come to YAP. Please stay in your car with a mask on, give us a call and we will bring out your one-of-a-kind artwork! We can only accept cash or check, Thanks!
