All students will have access to AP Classroom through their College Board account, which we will help them create at the beginning of the year. AP Classroom is where students will access practice quizzes, AP Daily Videos, progress checks, and practice exams. These are invaluable for preparing for our in-class Unit Exams, our December and April Final Exams, and for the AP Exam in May. The practice quizzes are required and are part of the student grade for this course. Please speak to me if you need help accessing this important resource.

These are the verbs you will find in the Free Response Questions (FRQs) throughout the course and on the AP Exam. This chart gives a brief explanation of what you are expected to write when you see one of these verbs in a question. We'll be practicing this regularly throughout the year.

These are not required, but many families choose to purchase one as a supplement for preparing for the AP Exam. There are many options available. I don't have one that I recommend - any of them will be helpful.Β You can get one from Amazon, the library, Bookman's or other local bookstores, or ask to borrow one from your Big Penguin. I have some copies in our classroom that students may use during conference. I also have a set of flashcards that students can use to practice. These are a few of the most popular books out there:
