In 2025 we've launched an innovative outreach initiative, 'Space is the Place,' where the wonders of astronomy intertwine with the captivating rhythms of live jazz. This unique program creates an engaging and accessible platform for science communication, blending educational talks with immersive musical experiences.
Pro-SCESL DEI initiative 2022-2024
Proficient Science Communication with English as a Second Language (Pro-SCELS) was an initiative launched at the University of Arizona by Leonardo Krapp and Kaitlin Kratter to promote science communication for non-native speakers who are interested in sharing science and developing communication skills.
