Fall 2025 Registration Process

You can count the steps on just one hand (and one toe)!

Please complete the first three steps in order: 1, 2, 3

Step 1 -- (National Organization)

USA Ultimate Membership (New or Renewal)

All Krakens wanting to play must be current members USA Ultimate. Memberships expire on 12/31 of each year. Follow the links and instructions below.

USA Ultimate You'll need to Log In or Create a New Account.
1. HS players need a "Youth" membership ($45).
  MS players can have a Youth or "Affiliate Player" membership ($20).
  Visit usaultimate.org/membership/ for more information
2. Complete electronic waivers during USAU registration.
3. Include USAU Membership # on your Team Registration form.

Step 2 -- (Local Organization)

You need to do this even if you have played for the Krakens before.

Step 3 -- (National and Local Organization)

Medical Authorization

Medical Authorization is required for league play. Download, print, complete, scan (or take a picture), and return to Team Administrator through krakensultimate@gmail.com .

You need to do this for each season. Please submit even if you have done so for a previous season.

USAU Medical Authorization (required to play in games)

You'll receive an email with instructions for Steps 4, 5, and 6

Step 4 -- (Local Organization)

Club Season Donations

Club season donations support coaches, tournament fees, supporters' swag, team photos and gear, and field/stadium rental. Watch your email for a call for donations.

High School Players: $50
Middle School Players: $25

Scholarships are available for players with financial need. Please contact the Team Administrator to apply. Don't let $$ prevent you from joining the Krakens!

Step 5 -- (Local Organization)

Order Uniforms and Swag

All new players will need to order uniforms. Returning players can place orders as well.

MS Players need dark shirt and white shirt.
HS Players need dark shirt, white shirt, and shorts

Step 6 -- (State Organization)

Utah Ultimate Disc Association or Ultimate Play Tournament Registration

In addition to registering with the national organization, all players must be registered with the state-level organization to participate in tournaments. You will receive instructions for registering for tournaments throughout the season. Please make sure you have an active UUDA account by visiting https://utahultimate.org/
