"It all started when I joined Col. Haybales line in a public game. He was inspiring the guys to play as a team, but not in a too serious way. A few other regiments asked me to join in which i saw no reason to do. but playing with the KRA line gave me a feeling i had to join this group to make Holdfast complete. "My Name is Quinton Lee, and this is my Story of the KRA! I first heard about this Regiment from my friend now commanding officer, Infantry Captain Helix on February 3rd, 2018. I promptly added General Lewis Haybales and requested to join originally the KRRC on February 4th, 2018, now the known as the KRA. These lads have been great the past almost 4 months that I've been here and I grow more and more fond of them daily from our cadets, all the way up to High Command. The lads in all our companies are great and we always have a great time together, joking around when able and being serious when needed."

"Story Time! My name is James Longtree , as you might have guessed, and I joined The KRA in early January 2018. I always played with the different infantry classes so it was only logical that after my promotion to master cadet I joined the Infantry Company. There has been many changes since then, such as a new Captain, more ranks, we even had platoons at some point but that never changed the nature of the regiment. It was the casual nature that made me joined, no mandatory training's, optional events and welcoming members with amazing personalities."

"Since joining the KRA my Holdfast experience has just kept getting better and better. I disclosed this to Rifle Company a while ago but am now comfortable telling anyone else that I suffer from (sometimes severe) bouts of anxiety and depression. This wonderful community of friends and like-minded individuals has been more of a help to me than you can ever know. As I do not tend to make friends and generally dislike being away from my home IRL, the KRA has allowed me to get the social interaction any human being needs without the added stress that real life can bring. "I’m normally a pretty shy guy, when it comes to communities. It been a long since time I was part of a bigger, English speaking community. I Had the game for a while, never really played it, because normally I only play such games with my friends. One day I stumbled over SovietWombles stream and later I just joined the KRA line battle event. It looked fun to do something organised.

That moment is now 2 months away and I never regretted it. The community is extremely welcoming and funny. I haven’t talked much but whenever I do I get a warm welcome, nice discussions and funny banter. I love how it’s “everything can, nothing must”. Even though there is this “family” feeling, in Linebattles the discipline is superb."

"My experience with the KRA has been awesome. KJ, Haybales, Jaynex, Helix, Pickle Rick, Fathers and more, all put in great effort to keep the KRA organised but all in the name of fun.

Best thing about the KRA is the members, coming from many parts of the world, we all love to banter, discuss random crap and argue about Football vs American Football which Haybales hates. Every new member is welcomed by a horde and is normally asked the most important questions including "Eggs, Fridge or Cupboard?"...

If you are looking to join a Regiment, there are some great ones to choose from but in my opinion, none beat the 1st King's Royal Army."

"Like many people on this forum, I joined it hoping to locate like minded people to play with in a semi-structured environment. I initially tried to found my own regiment in order to create the atmosphere I was looking for, but after several weeks of stagnant progress my fellow regiment members and I were called to arms by an excellent regiment called The Kings Royal Army. They have welcomed me and my mates with open in arms and the past few days that I have been a member I have discovered a welcoming and open community that hosts and or takes part in several activities daily."

"On my first game in I had no idea what to do, but immediately heard orders barked expertly from one of the men of the KRA. It seemed these fellas knew what they were up to, so I googled them and jumped in their Discord.

Where to start ... the welcomes. So many welcomes. I honestly didn't expect everyone to be so instantly friendly - there's an immediate feeling of community before you even enlist. Some might initially think it feels a bit like a cult, then the next thing you know you're being asked to worship trees and you know it's a cult, but a cult full of some genuinely friendly people and not a poisoned cup of kool aid in sight! Seriously, I've been with the KRA for almost two weeks now and not once has anyone suggested a mass suicide. Anyway, I'm deviating from the point a bit now so I should probably focus on why I'd join the KRA again in a heartbeat."

"This community is really one for each player that enjoys to play Holdfast or any other game with their friends, and I can confirm that everyone is being welcomed within this community to come and play within the server. "Going into this clan I had high expectations, having been a member of several organised and competitive clans in World of Warships (Full Metal Poi & Pravda Kantai), but KRA blew all of my expectations away. I received event and basic training very quickly and right from the outset was encouraged to take part in a large number of events they have going on. I think I've already taken part in at least five organised events over the past week.

Everyone is super friendly, and there is a large pool of experienced players to learn from and shadow. The promotion and specialization aspects of KRA are also very enjoyable, giving me an extra incentive to try to improve my skills."

"I officially joined the KRA on the 1st of October, after hearing Haybales leading a charge in a public game and i joined the charge. He said how to join and so i did that very hour. It was very quick. Everyone was very welcoming and I instantly felt part of the community. They taught me how to properly linebattle and play the game. They give out fun awards and it isn’t based all on skill, but on effort too. They make it easy to progress and anyone can get promoted just from playing the game. I will continue to play with the KRA and would recommend it to anyone."

"So I have been in the KRA now for almost 2 months, and in that time Holdfast has gone from a game I would maybe have a round or two during the week to my main game. Within the last month I have got 100hrs because since joining this regiment I have been encouraged by the community to be active through events and enjoy their positive demeanor. I have never had such fun in a community since I played in an Arma 3 community. We have a blast in the public and private servers, we can be serious and laid back. "Like a lot of people I bought the game on the sale over the Christmas period while I had some time to kill. While messing around on the servers I found the KRA members who seemed nice and helpful so thought I would give them a try to see what the game had to offer. I thought I would play the game for a bit and move on but little did I know that I would get sucked into the community that the KRA have created. There is a very broad range of people from all walks of life in the regiment and they are all awesome people promoting all the good things about playing with people over the internet. They fully support everyone and on top of that they are very active and have constant events all throughout the week which you can join in as much or little as you like. These guys are definitely worth giving a go or at least stopping by for a game with. I'm now hooked on Holdfast and slowly learning my left from right during the line battles."

"I have been with the KRA for 3 months now. Where did it all start? I had been playing the game by myself without a regiment for several months already but suddenly I ran into the KRA during a pubstomp. Our side was being throttled and we were on our last legs when suddenly a man by the name of Haybales formed a line with the remnants of our team. "Bless this Regiment, as the first regiment I've ever (fully) joined, i have to say it's been a marvelous experience. The staff was very helpful in teaching me the basics of organised Holdfast game play and continues to support me and others as they progress into more challenging roles. The community is nothing else but delightful, they were all super friendly and welcoming and today they're a fun bunch to talk to and hang out with. There's no fear of higher-ups and the staff isn't patronizing over new players, you can always ask them anything and they'll be glad to help. For example me asking General Haybales for the logo of the KRA so i could make my signature, absolutely wonderful guy.

Long story short, i would definitely recommend the KRA for both new and experienced players! "

"I have genuinely never felt more welcomed by any form of online community, than I have from the KRA. I was drawn in by General Haybales as he stormed across the battlefields of Holdfast; inspiring charge and counter-charge. "I have played many different games over the years, but never have I been on a game with such a great community as the KRA. Since I joined a couple of weeks back not a single person has been anything but helpful and friendly. It don't matter what time of day it is there is always people around to hang out with and talk to. "Once upon a time, i watched a bullshittery of a Napoleonic era game. I liked the game but didn't have many more thoughts about it.

After many moons i stumbled about said youtubers stream and watched him live as he played holdfast. I decided to buy the game and play in that public event as well. I did and met a friendly cannoneer named KRA | Lischang who helped me learn the ropes and achieve some solid artillery wipes. At the end of the event, i heard a recruitment message of pack21 and thought, why not. So I joined the KRA that day and met friendly, dedicated, silly, serious and fun people all around. Now I am part of this organization and hope many more people will be able to further their enjoyment by joining a regiment."

"I only bought holdfast a couple months or so ago, after playing NW on mount and blade for a good few years in and out of various regiments. Played a few games and wasn't really getting the feel for it...something was missing. I happened across a public line battle, and when I entered I heard the voice of possibly the most enthusiastic line leader I've ever encountered. Instantly forming ranks with his line we mowed down the French over a bridge crossing, one by one they all fell to our musket fire, it was glorious. When I was told that the KRA was recruiting at the end I instantly joined and i'm so so glad I did. The community upon entering the holy discord that is the KRA official was the most welcome I've ever been made to feel and I'e never looked back since! they've helped me grasp the game and enjoy it all that much more."

"The KRA has been a great experience so far. Yea, I only joined a week ago but much has gone on. The Community was extremely friendly and welcoming once I joined the Server, (I think at least 20 guys said Welcome!). I took multiple 1 on 1 Training Courses to earn my Certificates which helped me learn the basics of Holdfast. There was a different NCO to teach me 1 on 1 how to play each different class such as Line, Rifles, Arty, Sapper, Engineer, Aux and Melee, these guys where extremely helpful and full of knowledge. Then there was the plethora of events that the KRA attended, this gave me something to do each and every day. It's truly been a wonderful experience and I can't wait to stay with them more and more."
