Lorrie Monahan has been a vital part of Kings Ridge Players since she and her husband moved here several years ago. Her talents include writing short plays, performing comedy routines, and playing a major part as a nun in "Drinking Habits" this past spring. She was also part of Parodames, writing short lyrics and poems to perform for Kings Ridge residents.
Our club recently decided to give the Scene Stealer Award to a deserving member who gives so much of their time and talent to the Players Club. Lorrie is certainly deserving of that award for the many hours she has spent writing original material for our club to use in various productions we have been a part of. We will certainly miss her since she and Mike have recently moved. Lorrie was invaluable to our club!
The Officers have voted to recognize Winnie with this month’s Scene Stealer Award. She has consistently exceeded expectations, and her willingness to take on more responsibilities is not just helpful; it is invaluable. Winnie hasn’t just held a position in the club; she has built a legacy of support. Her impact extends far beyond the minutes of our meetings. She has also been the glue that held everything together during our transition when one of our new officers was unable to attend due to family issues. Winnie is a true team player who embodies the spirit of our club.
