App: Whisky Distillery Stamp Rally (ウイスキー蒸留所巡りスタンプラリー)
Operator: K&P
Last updated: October 24, 2026
K&P (the “Operator,” “we,” or “us”) explains below how information is handled in this app.
1. Overview
The app helps you privately record distillery visits and bottles you own. It does not require an account. The current version does not provide public rankings, sharing of records with other users, advertising, or tracking for advertising purposes.
The app has no feature that sends your location, visit records, saved distilleries, bottle information, selected photos, or recognized text to a server operated by us. Apple services used for maps, external websites you open, support correspondence, and device backups are addressed separately below.
2. Location
With your permission, the app uses your current location to determine whether you are within a stamp check-in area. It requests a location when you initiate a location-dependent action, such as checking in. The app has no feature that continuously tracks your movements in the background.
Your coordinates, location accuracy, and location timestamp are used temporarily for this check. A saved stamp contains a distillery identifier, the acquisition date and time, and a record ID. The app does not save the coordinates or accuracy of the location fix, or your travel route, as part of a stamp record. However, the saved distillery and acquisition time reveal the place and time of your recorded visit on your device.
You can change or revoke the app’s location permission in iPhone Settings. Distillery listings and My Bottles remain available without location permission, but location-dependent check-in is unavailable. Disabling Precise Location may prevent a successful check-in.
3. Photos and Text Recognition
My Bottles uses images you select through the iOS photo picker. The app does not read your entire photo library and does not include a feature for taking pictures directly with the camera. A copy of a selected image is resized or otherwise adjusted for display and storage, and saved locally on your device.
Label text recognition uses Apple’s Vision framework and runs on your device. We do not send photos or recognized text to an external AI service. Recognition results help you fill in bottle information. The app does not maintain a separate history containing the full recognized text. Information you choose to include in a bottle name, note, or another field is retained when you save that bottle.
Apple’s handling of images made available through services such as iCloud Photos, including any download needed to select an image, is governed by your settings and Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
4. Information Stored on Your Device
To provide its features and restore your records when you reopen it, the app stores the following in its private app storage on your device:
- Stamp records: distillery identifiers, acquisition dates and times, and record IDs.
- Identifiers of distilleries saved to your wishlist.
- My Bottles records: bottle names, distillery names, age statements, notes, opening status, optional purchase and opening dates, copies of selected photos, and record IDs.
Record IDs distinguish individual local records. They are not public user IDs or advertising identifiers. The app has no server through which we can view these records and no feature that synchronizes or publishes them between users.
5. Maps, External Websites, and Apple Services
The app displays maps using Apple’s MapKit. Apple may process the visible map area and information needed to provide map content and network services. We have not implemented a process that sends your stamp records, bottle records, photos, or notes to Apple to display maps. Please review Apple’s explanations of its own information handling:
- Apple Privacy Policy
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Apple Maps & Privacy
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/apple-maps/
When you open a distillery website or another external link, the website’s and your browser’s terms and privacy policies apply. Consult those services for information about access logs, cookies, and similar technologies they use.
Apple’s handling of diagnostics through iOS or the App Store is governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s explanations. We have not integrated advertising SDKs or a separate usage analytics SDK into the app.
This policy page is hosted using Google Sites. The hosting service may process connection information, such as your IP address and request information, when you visit the page. Please review the Google Privacy Policy
https://policies.google.com/privacy
for its handling of that information. We have not added analytics or advertising tags to this policy page.
6. Backups, Retention, and Deletion
Local records remain stored while you continue to use the app. The app does not provide its own cloud synchronization service. However, app data may be included in an iCloud backup or a backup to your computer. Whether backups occur, their retention, and restoration depend on your settings and the relevant services, including Apple’s.
You can remove distilleries from your wishlist and edit bottle records within the app. The current version does not include individual deletion of stamps or bottles, or an in-app button to erase all records.
To remove the app’s locally stored data from your device, use “Delete App” in iOS app management. “Offload App” retains data and is different from deletion. Deleting the app does not automatically delete original images in your photo library or separately stored backups. Manage backups in the relevant service settings. Restoring a backup may restore previous app data.
Because we do not hold your local records, we cannot access, delete, or recover them on your behalf.
7. Support Correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or other information included in the email, the message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information as needed to respond, manage support correspondence, and investigate issues. We retain it for the period needed to handle the request and related follow-up, and delete it when it is no longer needed, except where retention is legally required.
We use email services to send, receive, and store support correspondence. We do not use support information for advertising and do not sell or rent it. Except where required or permitted by law, we do not disclose it to third parties for another purpose without your consent. Processing by service providers used for support, such as email services, is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Contact us below with questions about this information or requests for its deletion. Manage records stored only on your device as described in the preceding section.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy if our features or information handling change. Important changes will be announced in the app or on the page where this policy is published. If a new activity requires permission or consent, we will provide the necessary notice and obtain it before starting that activity.
