Konstantinos Protopappas

Welcome to my website! 

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Public Finance, University of Innsbruck.  I hold a PhD in Economics from Lancaster University.  

I will be visiting the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign during the spring term of 2025.

My main research interests include industrial organisation and political economy. Particularly, I use techniques from contest theory to address various questions in these fields. I also have a parallel interest in behavioural and experimental economics.
