Monthly Art Project

This is the monthly art project page! If you're wondering what this is about, its where we shall post a theme, and you (The reader of this) can join if you want. Its not required, but you can join if you want! As writing this, we don't have a theme yet, but we shall soon! (This was written by Kaedence Hargrove)

February Project

February's art project is about Black History Month. We recognize all the individuals who have fought for equality and justice for people of color. We would like you to create a piece of art about what this month represents. How would you represent equality? What does it look like to you? What black people in history would you honor artistically? Research the lives and the messages of black figures in history to make your artwork powerful and full of details. You can use different mediums like digital art, painting, pencil, pen, etc. It can contain words as well. It is open to your interpretation whatever that may be.

Deadline: February 14th

Rules:

• Email a picture of your art to Ms. Paulete at adiap@kppcs.org

- Do not copy from the internet,

- Do not copy anyone else's work

- Please let your artwork be original

- Be appropriate and safe with your imagery

- You don't have to be a perfectionist, just have fun!
