The homesystem of the Star Gryphs, orbiting the main sequence star Cynid in the Qwineb Galaxy. All terrestrial planets in the Cynid system have been terraformed to T3 status, while all terrestrial planets sans Phirek have been colonised.
Kottron is the moon orbiting Euphoria. Once a barren world, Kottron is now flourishing with life. It is the second-most populated body of the Star Gryph empire; the first being Euphoria. Fluffy grew up & studied here.
It has gained some infamy as the testing ground for the Star Gryphs' technologies; its unusual appearance being the result of such experiments. Loud bangs & explosions are a common sound in Kottron's colonies; though safety protocols are in place to ensure that no harm comes to colony citizens.
Phirek is a spiceless world with no colonies; thus it is primarily used as a wildlife sanctuary for the preservation & study of animal & plant lifeforms, both from Euphoria, & those found on alien worlds by Star Gryph captains.
Teryaxanny is... one of the most forgotten-about colonised planets in the Cynid system, because practically nothing super interesting happens there; though some residents enjoy it for the lack of political drama & its vast oceans.
Agarvarlix is the ever-looming massive gas giant of the Cynid system, responsible for protecting the other planets from being hit by asteroids by catching them in its orbit, instead.
(Fun fact: Jupiter actually does this in real life! It catches asteroids in its orbit, which conveniently protects us from getting hit. ...Though other times its gravity also flings asteroids in our direction instead.)
