Milky Quartz, sometimes going by the nickname "Ghost", was one among many lowly-ranked grunt soldiers on Era-1 Homeworld. Searching for a life better than mindlessly fighting & following orders, Milky Quartz joined the Crystal Gems, finding a passion for studying a wide variety of subjects & unintentionally getting swept up into being a strategist for the rebellion.

  She was shattered on the battlefield and used as part of the Cluster experiments; but was eventually put back together in Era-3 by Yellow Diamond, later visiting Rose's Fountain to heal her remaining cracks.

  Nowadays, she mostly spends her time either reading books at her apartment in Little Homeworld, or exploring the archives & libraries of both Homeworld & Earth; sometimes being affectionately bothered by her girlfriend, Cat's Eye.

❤️Personality

  Studious, passionate, friendly, introverted. Milky Quartz generally prefers to keep to herself & her studies most of the time, but won't say no to a friendly chat. However, as well-meaning as she is, she's not really one for... heartwarming conversations. She's blunt, a little avoidant, and gets frazzled when others are. Still, she does care, even if it's harder for her to show it. Rather than words, she shows her compassion through her actions.

  After spending years fighting as part of an army, then part of a rebellion, then even more years of her shards being stuck as part of forced fusion experiments, Ghost has... kinda grown sick of being part of a crowd. As she has for thousands of years, all she wants is her life to be hers to own, but she still feels obligated to do so many things for the good of her community.

  She isn't particularly good at relaxing, now that there isn't a massive crisis looming overhead all the time. Her past, paired with her studious disposition, and her desire to embody the boundless compassion she was shown by the Crystal Gems and as a Crystal Gem herself, has leant well to her being quite the workaholic. But her inability to let herself just chill & take time for herself is taking a toll on her, whether she wants it to or not.
