Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl, often nicknamed simply as "Cat's Eye" or more formally known as "Cymophane", was originally basically a budget Pearl; made to serve & look pretty, though with less of the elegance, colour-customisation, and status-symbolism. Cat's Eye 4XT in particular was a sort of accountant/resource inventory manager in Yellow Diamond's court. She was sent to Earth as part of Homeworld's forces to keep track of how many gems & resources were being used or lost in the Gem War, but when the time came, wasn't able to escape the Diamonds' Corrupting Light.

  After being healed when Era-3 rolled around, the now much more cat-like-looking Cat's Eye has been trying to get used to her new form, but otherwise pretty much just hangs around doing whatever; sometimes affectionately bothering her girlfriend, Ghost, at Little Homeworld.

❤️Personality

  Spunky, curious, feral... a little lost on what to do with herself. Cat's Eye has an adventurous spirit, and is very much glad to be out of the throes of stuffy offices & endless numbers. ...If only she knew what to do with herself now that she's free.

  Aimless & lonely, Cat's Eye desperately wants to be part of the cheerfulness & playfulness she sees everywhere in this new Era, and her excitability is sincere, but not to the reckless, blasé extent she plays it up as. She's much more prissy & high-strung than she lets on- traits she wishes she didn't have, because it reminds her too much of her old life on Homeworld. She doesn't want to be the old her; the new her is so much better & happier, right?

  Her old programming often shines through when she's stressed out, as she can be quite petty, impatient, and, well, catty, when things don't go how she planned. Deep down, she hasn't quite let go of the idea that she needs to accomplish something to have worth, and doesn't really understand that her life as a person has inherent value regardless of what she achieves; or the idea that the Homeworld-esque way she treats people, putting humans & gems alike on either pedestals or seeing them as lower than herself instead of just seeing them as fellow people, isn't okay.
