Kate Petty spent ten years as a high school English and ELD teacher at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, CA. She fell in love with inquiry-based learning and made her way to the district office first as an EdTech TOSA and then as the district Instructional Technology Coordinator. Kate left the school district in 2015 to work with EdTechTeam as the Director of Certification Programs and later, the Director of Professional Learning.

Kate now works as the North America Director for AppsEvents. Kate is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer and is a Certified PBL Teacher in Project-Based Learning from the Buck Institute. Kate’s passions are her family and wine.
