What inspired you to join Stream Watch as a volunteer? I got tired of seeing all of the banks of the rivers worn out and people tearing down fences that are supposed to keep them out.

What do you love most about the program? My favorite thing about the program is seeing all of the people who are interested in protecting the river habitat volunteering, as well as seeing the younger generation caring about the environment. It's pretty cool.

What are you most excited for this summer? Just knowing that doing this will preserve the area for my grandkids one day and so that future generations can enjoy it. Also knowing that you don't have to destroy everything in order to have fun. It doesn't matter what generation you're in, it's just about getting out and enjoying it.
