How long have you been involved with Stream Watch? About 5 years.

What inspired you to join the Stream Watch team? I joined because it was an opportunity to do something that makes a difference for our environment, which is really important to me. It was cool to see a group of like-minded folks coming together to support the cause in our community. I loved that Stream Watch is a group of people going out, rather than just individuals; it’s really encouraging. I also loved the educational component of the program.

What do you love most about the program? Getting outdoors and working and making an effort to keep this place clean and not let it get ruined. Also, the people I meet - the staff and interns and volunteers are all wonderful. It’s really cool and encouraging to see people like yourself who are committing their professional career and recreational time to the cause.

What are you most excited for this summer? I really enjoy the float at the end of season because that then again brings us all together with other people who are trying to do the right thing.
