NanoDDS for Brain Drug Delivery
Of our research interests are various drug delivery systems,
in particular, clinically applicable delivery systems of
nucleic acid therapeutics (pDNA, asODN, siRNA), using nanoparticular carrier systems of lipids,
polymers, and lipid-polymer hybrid systems, capable of targeting specific tissues, in particular,
brain microvessels and/or intracellular organelles such as mitochondria or nuclei.
Understanding the intracellular and extracellular fate of the nanocarreier systems using various in vitro
and in vivo imaging techniques is also of our interest.
We are well-equipped and well-financed with proven records of productivity.
