BIOGRAPHY

Kowshik Sankar Roy is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Information Technology (Computer Science Track) at Towson University, Maryland, USA, beginning in Fall 2025, where he also works as a Graduate Research Assistant. His primary research focuses on Wireless Communication, Wireless Security, and Sustainable AI.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, obtained in 2022, and an M.Sc. in Applied Statistics and Data Science from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, completed in August 2024.

Kowshik has authored and co-authored five journal papers and two conference papers. His broader research interests include Network Security, Wireless Communications, Adversarial Machine Learning, and Data Science.

In addition to his academic journey, he is gaining valuable practical experience as an Operational Data Analyst at EDOTCO Group, a leading multinational telecom tower infrastructure company. With a strong foundation in both engineering and data science, Kowshik is dedicated to advancing technology and developing data-driven solutions with real-world impact.
