Shards are earned through team battles and team tournaments, the bigger the event, the more shards you get! Shards can be earned through all marathon teams and will all be stored together. The player with the most shards in each team who is not already a leader will be a leader until someone passes them.

The baseline for shards is 1 point=30 shards, and more will be given in larger events and when we place high. A 1st place finish is a guaranteed 5x shard boost, 2nd place is 4x, and 3rd is 3x. Send @Cinnamon72 a Lichess DM for more information on shards.

You may prestige to earn shards multipliers. Each Prestige increases your multipilier by one. 1st prestige gives an 2x mulitplier, 2nd gives you a 3x multiplier and so on. Your first prestige is 1M shards, and it doubles each time.

Prestiging 3 times makes you a Bronze member, giving you the ability to suggest new ideas, 5 times makes you Silver, and you may then earn large shard rewards for increasing the team's popularity. 10 times, and you will be Gold, allowing you to help leaders make serious decisions. 50 times, ands you will be Platinum, allowing you to take part in some of the most important discussions. 100 times, and you will be Diamond, and you will have the power of a leader.
