Konstantin Berestizshevsky
I am a post-doctoral researcher at Huawei Zurich Research Center. I defended my Ph.D. thesis in June 2022 in the School of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Guy Even. Thesis title: "Efficient Deep Learning Models". I have quite a diverse area of interest which includes:
Computer Architecture (Machine-Learning-based Predictors) - with Huawei Zurich Research Center
Deep Learning (efficient inference in large language models, time-series, recommender systems)
Logic design (RTL, FPGA design) - Developed teaching labs at Tel Aviv University, RTL design in Huawei
Computer Vision (Weakly Supervised Instance Segmentation)
Smart Power Grids - Collaboration with the Columba University, NREL, and Siemens
Machine Learning in Analytical Chemistry
Short Bio
I received my BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University in 2014. My MSc was accomplished in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Shlomo Weiss, and it dealt with computer architectures, specifically - branch prediction in DSP architectures. I worked in Freescale Semiconductor as a programmer in a hardware simulation team. Toward the end of my PhD, I interned in research groups of Amazon Alexa Shopping and Huawei Zurich Research Center.Â
My hobbies are drawing, cross-country skiing, table-football, hiking, and Judo (black belt)
