If you want a legendary, high-fidelity wired audio experience with deep bass and a retro aesthetic for your daily commute or home listening, choose Koss Porta Pro Black; if you need a rugged, shockproof travel pouch specifically designed to protect compatible kids' headphones from dust, drops, and scratches, choose Lebakort Hard Case Compatible.
• Koss Porta Pro Black: Delivers exceptional audiophile-grade sound with a collapsible, lightweight design perfect for portability, but it lacks wireless connectivity and active noise cancellation.
• Lebakort Hard Case Compatible: Offers superior physical protection with EVA hard-shell construction and organized storage for accessories, but it is purely an accessory and does not produce any audio itself.
• Who is this for?: The Koss is for the music purist seeking a classic on-ear experience, while the Lebakort is for parents or travelers needing to safeguard specific iClever headphone models during transit.
The Koss Porta Pro Black is a piece of audio history that has stood the test of time since its introduction in 1984. It is engineered for those who prioritize sound quality above all else, offering a frequency response that spans from 15 Hz to 25,000 Hz. This wide range ensures that you hear everything from the deepest sub-bass frequencies to the most delicate high-end harmonics. The dynamic drivers are housed in a compact, on-ear enclosure that delivers a rich midrange and deep bass performance, making it a favorite among enthusiasts who crave detail without the bulk of over-ear designs.
Comfort is a major selling point for this model, thanks to the unique ComfortZone temporal pads. These adjustable pads shift the pressure points, allowing the ear plates to balance perfectly against your ears. Whether you are wearing them for a long study session or a short commute, the multi-pivoting ear plates and adjustable headband adapt to different head shapes. The build quality feels durable yet incredibly light, weighing in at just 2 grams for the unit itself (excluding packaging), which contributes to its reputation as one of the most recognized headphones globally.
However, this product is strictly wired. It connects via a standard 3.5 mm mini-phone stereo jack, meaning you will need a device with a headphone output or an adapter for modern smartphones. There is no Bluetooth capability built into the unit, and there is no active noise control. If you are looking for isolation from gym noise or public transport chatter, this open-back style design relies entirely on the passive seal of the ear cups. It also comes with a soft carrying case rather than a hard shell, so it offers basic protection against scratches but not against heavy impacts.
This product is ideal for the listener who values the tactile, retro experience of high-fidelity audio and doesn't mind managing cables. It is a perfect companion for the best open ear headphones for gym enthusiasts who prefer a secure fit and don't require sweat-proofing or wireless freedom, though it is perhaps better suited for home use or quiet outdoor walks where cable management isn't a hindrance. If you are searching for the best ear clip headphones for gym, this might not be the exact form factor you need, but its secure, adjustable fit makes it a contender for anyone wanting a stable, non-intrusive listening solution that stays put.

The Lebakort Hard Case Compatible is not a set of headphones; it is a dedicated protective vessel designed specifically for iClever kids headphones like the HS19, BTH12, and BTH26 models. Its primary function is to shield these devices from the rigors of daily life, especially when they are being transported by children or packed into backpacks. The exterior is crafted from premium composite materials, featuring a hard EVA shell that resists impacts and collisions. This semi-rigid structure acts as a first line of defense against accidental drops, ensuring the headphones inside remain intact even after a tumble.
Inside, the case is lined with soft goose down material. This lining is crucial because it prevents the headphones from shifting around and getting scratched against the hard shell. The compartment is tailored to ensure a snug fit, locking the headphones securely in place so they do not rattle or bounce during movement. On the opposite side, there is a double-layer mesh pocket specifically designed to hold wires, adapters, and other peripherals. This organizational feature keeps all the matching items for the wireless kids headphones neatly stored together, preventing the common frustration of losing charging cables or dongles in the bottom of a bag.
Durability is further enhanced by the nylon exterior, which adds an extra layer of abrasion resistance. The case is also semi-waterproof and dustproof, providing a barrier against moisture and dirt particles that could damage sensitive electronics. A sturdy hand strap allows for easy carrying, and the smooth zipper ensures quick access when you need to grab the headphones for a quick listen. It is lightweight enough that adding it to a large bag does not raise the overall weight significantly, making it a practical choice for daily commutes or school trips.
This product is exclusively for users who own compatible iClever models and need a reliable way to store them. It is the ideal solution for parents who want to extend the lifespan of their child's audio gear. Unlike the Koss, which is a standalone audio device, the Lebakort is an accessory that solves the problem of lost or damaged equipment. It is not designed for general-purpose storage; the internal shape is custom-fit. If you are looking for a case for generic headphones, this might not work, but for the specific iClever models, it offers a level of security that a simple soft pouch cannot match.
• Best for Audio Fidelity → Koss Porta Pro Black: With its 15 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response and dynamic drivers, this delivers a full-range, high-fidelity listening experience that the case simply cannot provide.
• Best for Physical Protection → Lebakort Hard Case Compatible: The hard EVA shell and impact-resistant design offer superior protection against drops and crushing forces compared to the Koss's soft included case.
• Best for Portability (Audio) → Koss Porta Pro Black: The collapsible design allows it to fold down small, making it easy to slip into a pocket or small bag for immediate listening.
• Best for Organization → Lebakort Hard Case Compatible: The dual mesh pockets keep wires and accessories separated and secure, whereas the Koss case only holds the headphones themselves.
• Best for Wireless Use → Neither (but Lebakort supports wireless models): The Koss is wired only; however, the Lebakort case is designed to hold wireless iClever headphones, protecting them when not in use.
• Best for Gym Durability → Lebakort Hard Case Compatible: If you need to transport sweaty or potentially wet headphones safely, the semi-waterproof and dustproof nature of the Lebakort case is a critical advantage for preserving the device.
• Best Value for Music Lovers → Koss Porta Pro Black: You get a complete, legendary audio system in one package, whereas the Lebakort is an add-on that requires you to already own the headphones.
• Best for Travel Safety → Lebakort Hard Case Compatible: The rigid structure protects contents from being crushed in luggage or backpacks, a feature the flexible Koss case lacks.
In my opinion, I would buy the Koss Porta Pro Black if my goal was to actually listen to music. It is a complete, high-performance product that stands on its own merits as a piece of engineering art. The sound quality is unmatched for the price point, and the collapsible design makes it genuinely travel-friendly for a musician or audiophile. However, if I already owned the specific iClever headphones mentioned and needed a way to survive the chaos of a child's backpack or a busy gym bag, I would choose the Lebakort Hard Case Compatible. It fills a very specific gap that almost every other case misses: custom fit and hard-shell impact protection. Ultimately, the Koss is the hero of the story for sound, while the Lebakort is the unsung guardian for preservation. For a gym setting where durability matters, the Lebakort's protective qualities are essential if you are transporting the hardware, but for the actual workout experience, the Koss provides the sonic power I crave.
They are not suitable for intense sweating environments unless covered by a separate protective case like the Lebakort.
No, the listing explicitly states that only the storage case is sold. All displayed headphones, wires, and accessories are for demonstration purposes only and are not included in the purchase.
No, the specifications list the connectivity technology as "Wired" with a 3.5 mm jack. While the description mentions Bluetooth version 4.0 in a confusing context likely referring to an adapter or previous model confusion, the primary features confirm it is a wired headphone with no built-in wireless capability.
It is specifically designed for iClever kids headphones (HS19, BTH12, BTH26). The internal compartments are tailored to ensure a snug fit for these specific models, so it may not accommodate other brands effectively.
