Selfportrait, Koshi Takagi
270 x 147 cm
I am an artist from Tokyo, Japan (*1959) living in Mönchengladbach, Germany. My main areas are realistic drawings of human, animals and nature with pencil or oil paint.
The subjects I paint or draw, are as realistic as possible, without changing their innate character, because this always fascinated me the most.
The balanced, traditional doses of oil paint and brush strokes are my tools that graphically and seamless connect the subject and the enviroment.
And finally, the picture begins to breathe.
