Tomáš Korytář, Ph.D.
HEAD OF THE LAB
My academic journey began with a deep interest in molecular and systematic biology, which has driven my research into the complex immune mechanisms in teleost fish. My work focuses on understanding the diversity of B lymphocytes and the critical role of antibodies in the interactions between parasites and their fish hosts. This research is essential for improving aquaculture practices and enhancing fish health management. As an active member of the scientific community, I am committed to advancing our knowledge in this field and contributing to sustainable solutions for the aquaculture industry.
Jiří Kyslík, Ph.D.
POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Jiří is an evolutionary and molecular immunologist with a background in parasitology. His passion lies in understanding the evolution of immune system components in teleost fish. His research focuses on the evolution and functional significance of antibody receptors, as well as host-parasite interactions and novel mechanisms within the fish immunome.
