This game/webpage is open to the general public.
If you found one of the traveling geocaches that my kids and I made, send an email to korymorehead@gmail.com and let me know where you found it, and where you will be moving it to. Share your story and pictures if you would like to. The discovery journal can be viewed by clicking the button below the map.
Normally a geocache is put in a set location, and people go to that one location to sign the log. With these caches, we want you to move it along to somewhere new when you find it. Lets see how many miles we can put on these containers!
The map on this page will show the last known location with a colored marker. Green is ready to grab, red is missing, grey means we haven't checked it recently. Black is a previous location.
The spreadsheet below will give more detail on the caches and the last time they moved.
Our first set of containers were taken and never reported. We hope they're just out on an adventure and not stolen. The last three that we made are just a QR code pendant that leads to this page. We made them on our 3d printer instead of another set of screw-top containers in the hope that they are moved along and shared, instead of being an object of some use that someone might keep.
I will keep this page up until the caches each go about three months without any updates, and then we will probably scrap the project.
