OTHER STUFF
2/14 - Canadian areas visited: Manitoba, Ontario
28/93 - "I've Been Everywhere" song locations including "crossed the deserts bare, man", and "breathed the mountain air, man".
5/50 - State high points
Drivable: IA, NE, KS
Walking path/easy hikes: MO, MI
I summited Mount Arvon for Michigan, the generally accepted location in 2026. Mount Curwood is within 12" of elevation, but may be higher. Highest point in the state is a mine tailings pile in Ishpeming, but that's not natural and shouldn't count. The walk is easy but the drive there is not.
Moderate/difficult hikes: none
Failed Black Mesa, OK due to wildfire the day before I arrived in May 2026
Literal mountains: none
6/7 - Centers of the USA
Pole of Inaccessibility left to do, between Kyle and Allen, SD. Click the link to go to the ADV rider thread, where I may someday organize a group ride.
Visited: Center ND, Robinson ND, Rugby ND, Belle Fourche SD, Lebanon KS, 45°N 90° W in Wisconsin
13/61 - Tri-state markers
4 corners also done, May 2026
1/8 - Extreme compass points in the US: NW Angle MN
