Fort Lewis College was where I started and am now continuing my education.  I graduated for "The Fort" in with my bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in French.  Having no clue what I wanted to do after graduation I found myself applying for a position in a Preschool and that is where my career began.  I loved working with tiny humans and continued in Early Childhood Education for nearly 20 years.  Starting as a Preschool Assistant and continuing through work as a Director, I found myself wanting more time with my own children and a change for something different.  

I am now enjoying a career shift.  I am back in college, exploring Special Education and finding this as a great fit for me.  I  enjoy seeing student thinking that is differnet than mine.  I enjoy the bonds I have formed with students and I am looking forward to the next steps on this path.
