I initially planned on doing top 4 and not top 5 because it's high school rapper 4... but it was too hard for me to just pick 4 :,)

Kang Joseph and Noh Yoon-ha's performance was seriously captivating, not to mention the sweet harmonization that happens at 1:13. Even the subtle reference to Baby Shark in their lyrics was cool :,)

The overall rhythm and feel of Hwang Sae-hyun and Kim Jae-ha's performance was really smooth, and I especially enjoyed Hwang Sae-hyun's hook and verse (1:30). It might just be my thing for husky voices (see Top 12 Sing Again Performances for more of that 🤦) but WOW this performance is really really good.

I was actually so surprised when Heo Won-hyuk's performance didn't receive as many votes as the other contestants'. But at the same time, it did get a lot of views on YouTube, so I guess he kinda did win.

I really love this song for it's upbeat and hopeful feel- 1:28-1:44 was probably my favorite part of the song, but in regards to choreography, it was probably 3:19 ;)

Park Hyun-jin's Paradise is likely one of the most (pleasantly!) addictive tracks from HSR4. It's super laid back and nicely showcases Park Hyun-jin's singing-rap style.

Lee Seung-hoon's SUPERNOVA was genuinely on another level, emotionally even some of the judges started to tear up. EVERYTHING, from Changmo playing the piano to G.Soul singing was superb, but the real star was clearly Lee Seung-hoon. His lyrics were unexpectedly very personal and the performance overall had a powerful yet intimate feel.
