In 1929 Ghosts of Joseon (조선의 귀신, 朝鮮の鬼神) was published by the folklorist Jijun Murayama (무라야마 지준, 村山智順), a collection of all the supernatural presences believed by Koreans to live between the human and non-human world. Further publications followed until today, where the world of livings has been inhabited by ghosts as never before.
