MechSIT (PVT) LTD (“MechSIT”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) develops and operates Korean Path: EPS-TOPIK Sinhala. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our app or contact us.
Korean Path does not require registration or a user account. We do not collect personal information through the app or transmit your learning activity to our servers.
The app stores learning information locally on your device, including:
Completed lessons and learning progress.
Practice answers, incorrect answers, and saved questions.
Mock examination scores and recent results.
Learning preferences and app settings.
This information is used to provide progress tracking, answer review, personalised revision, and a consistent learning experience. MechSIT does not receive or have remote access to this locally stored information.
Lessons, vocabulary, practice questions, illustrations, and computer-generated Korean audio are included in the app and can be used offline.
Listening exercises play the audio supplied with the app. They do not require you to record or upload your voice.
Korean Path does not include advertising SDKs, analytics services, or remote crash-reporting services. We do not use the app to track users across other apps or websites.
We do not sell or rent user information.
If you email mechsita@gmail.com, we receive your email address, your message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide.
We use this information to respond to enquiries, provide support, and resolve reported issues. Please avoid sending passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Our email service provider processes these communications to deliver and store email. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry, maintain relevant support records, or meet legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of your correspondence, subject to any applicable retention requirements.
The app includes links to external websites, such as SLBFE and HRD Korea, for official recruitment and examination information.
When you open an external link, that website may collect information such as your IP address, browser details, or cookies under its own privacy policy. MechSIT does not control those websites or their data practices.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each external website you visit.
Korean Path does not retain personal information or learning activity. There is no user account, saved learning history, or stored progress to delete.
If you contact us by email, we retain your correspondence only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or meet applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of that correspondence by emailing mechsita@gmail.com.
There is no MechSIT user account to delete, and we cannot remotely recover or delete learning information stored only on your device.
We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle. Locally stored learning information is protected by your device’s operating system and its security controls.
No storage or communication method is completely secure. We encourage you to protect your device with a screen lock and keep its operating system updated.
Korean Path is designed for learners preparing for Korean language study and the EPS-TOPIK examination. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support enquiry, contact us so that we can review and appropriately delete it.
Korean Path is an independent educational app. It does not represent and is not affiliated with SLBFE, HRD Korea, the Government of Sri Lanka, or the Government of South Korea.
The app does not collect or process official examination applications, recruitment applications, visa applications, passport details, or government identification documents.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice within the app.
