  • • Start from reading and writing the Korean alphabet (Hangul), learn pronunciation rules, basic classroom expressions, and some words

• Elementary Korean I & II

  • • Building a solid foundation in grammar and daily conversation

• Intermediate Korean I & II

  • • Developing fluency and more complex sentence structures 

    • Requires a textbook (no workbook needed)

• Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Prep

• Conversational Korean

  • • For advanced-level students only

🌺 Korean History & Culture:

Taught in English (with Korean vocabulary keywords)

• Korean Culture and Society through BTS

  • • Follow BTS's work, especially lyrics, in chronological order to understand Korean culture and society (and Korean language when applicable sometimes )

• Korean Culture and Society through Popular Culture

  • • (Deal with various popular cultures such as K-pop, drama, movies, webtoons, etc.)

• Founding Myths, Heroes, and Important Figures

  • • Run-through of Korean history, from the beginning of the Dangun myth, the Three Kingdoms period, and other dynasties to pre-modern history

• Folklore, Mythical Creatures, and Classic Literature

  • • Learn about folk stories and creatures that all Koreans know

• Popular Culture Discussion

  • • (Watch a few films, then talk about certain drama or movie scenes and script "lines" for cultural nuance to better understand Korean culture and society, etc.)
