Our team is dedicated to developing and applying plant metabolic engineering technologies to enhance the economic and industrial value of plants. Our major research interests include elucidating the biosynthetic genes and metabolic pathways of high-value plant-derived compounds, identifying and characterizing useful genes associated with key agricultural traits to ensure stability and efficiency in crop production, and developing synthetic biology modules and gene expression systems for high-efficiency plant metabolic engineering.
