Thanks for responding...I fixed the problem. I figured it was missing some of its bits from the first download because it got interrupted during the process. Native Access was stuck in a permanent loop of trying to install, even the next when I turned my computer back on... So I deleted it and then deleted what I had download before. Then I redownloaded it and the library again. ( 5 and a half hrs ). This time it installed perfectly. Instllation only took 15 min... Kontakt 7 is really a worhwhile purchase, or in my case upgrade. That orchestra from Orchestral Tools is Great!

I have attempted to install library 2 for kontakt . I already have library from kontakt 6 on the same external ssd. There is plenty of room. I have my defaul path for kontakt pointed at the proper external ssd.

Does Kontakt Factory Library 2 replace Kontakt Factory Library 1 (meaning that Factory Library 1 can be uninstalled without fear of losing content) or is Library 2 to be considered more of a library to add on to Library 1?

The new browsers was very impractical to distinguish between Kontakt Factory Library 1 and 2, searching for anything gave double entries and the experience was really confusing. Most of KFL1 is also included in KFL2, so the only reason to keep both would be if you have old projects with KFL1.

Because the last information I had is that my Maschine+ only have few instruments from the Kontakt factory library (very few). No other NKS library can be loaded in M+, unless you sample them with autosampler

Sorry, i somehow didn't paid attention to your "without a laptop" notice! My answer is correct if you use the software. If you don't, then i don't know, i always use software with my Maschine (or any other instrument)

It is a deal breaker for me unfortunately, since Push 3 standalone can handle the original Ableton project and I was hoping Maschine+ could handle clock sync'd live jamming on its amazing Kontakt libraries standalone.

You can create custom Kontakt 6 patches and they will load up in Maschine+, but anything released for Kontakt Player will not work, nor will DRM-protected commercial kontakt libraries. Kontakt patches from indie vendors such as Past 2 Future samples should work though

When authoring custom Kontakt patches, same things apply as with Reaktor content, must be made with the same version or earlier than what exist in Maschine+.. so that's Kontakt desktop 6.4.3 or earlier I think?

Yepp, seems to work as expected! I didn't include any custom UI for the Kontakt patch, and didn't optimize the UI in Maschine, so loading the patch results in 16 pages of worthless parameters displaying "n/a" in the M+ UI, other than that, works as expected.

I could share the patch (just a basic Korg M1 piano, sampled at every key of the keyboard via Maschine+'s autosampler), but not sure if there is any interest in such a thing in the community, considering it weighs almost 500 megs uncompressed.. and I've no sensible way of hosting such a file for any reasonable period of time anyways

I used the autosampler to capture 128 notes at 100 velocity, saved them onto the SD card. I then copied those samples to my mac, opened Kontakt 6.7.1, created a new instrument, and imported those 128 sampled notes into Group 1, saved the patch with samples, copied to my my SD card, booted M+ in standalone, and loaded it in from the browser from INSTRUMENTS - KONTAKT - USER

This was just a quick test, I should now spend the time creating sensible envelope and fx controls for the patch in Kontakt before resaving. Obviously, the benefits of Kontakt do not really come in to play with such a simplistic patch.. but remember, Kontakt 6 has access to Replika delays, Solid EQ & Compressor, granular synthesis, and that is just the start.. ;)

Peeps are sleeping on the vast potential within.. same with Reaktor.. Maschine+ really comes into its own when you roll up your sleeves and start using the full suite of content authoring tools available for the platform. Why NI does not promote the DIY potential of M+, I will never know..

In the Spitfire app, I just downloaded the relaunched Spitfire Symphony Orchestra (over 300GB). I entered my serial number in the Native Access app, and pointed it at the folder containing the SSO files. "Spitfire Symphony Orchestra" shows as expected in my list of installed products in Native Access. All good.

In Kontakt 7, the library is nowhere to be found. I click "Mange Libraries" and see that it isn't on the list. I've tried deleting my Kontakt cache (I'm running Windows 11, so that's AppData\Local\Kontakt 7). Nothing works.

Hello, I have a big problem (actually there are 2 problems which can be correlated). When loading, for example, Session Guitarist - Electric Sunburst Deluxe, the whole DAW freezes for about 2 minutes. Then everything is ok until the next time the library is loaded. I made batch re-save, enabled samples loading in background and tried to switch multicore processing to off. Nothing works, it still hangs the DAW for a long time. What is the reason for that? Most other libraries load without that freezing.

Another problem: when using Studio One, while loading the project with kontakt plugins, the loading screen also freezes on "Loading Control Surface". And it also takes on the average 2 minutes per plugin instance. So when I have 10 kontakt plugins, it takes 20! minutes to just load the project. And this problem probably occurs with all libraries, not just Electric Sunburst.

I have libraries on hdd, but I think this should not be the argument. There are features in Kontakt which should speed up the process even with slow drives. As I see at the moment, these features are just not working correctly.

I have two projects, a small one for testing and a big one I'm currently working on, but both of them have only 3 Kontakt instances with same instruments. The small project loads fast as expected and after the project is loaded, Kontakt begins to load samples in background. But this is not the case for the big project. I used process monitor to see which actions Kontakt is performing. When the loading screen of Studio One is stuck on "Loading control surface", Kontakt loads all the samples for some random instruments. After all samples for these instruments are loaded, Studio One opens the project. Then I can see and confirm that some of the instruments are fully loaded, whereas the remaining instruments load in background as expected.

I had already done that. The application location is left as default, the download location is on a separate SSD with over 1 tb of space and the contents location is on a brand new 1tb external usb c SSD. I finally got the aforementioned library to fully install yesterday after many attempts and days of trying. There was an obvious issue with either Native Access 2 or possibly the server corrupting the downloads. I had failed downloads with many of the other Komplete 14 products and 4 or 5 other failed installations that eventually installed after 2 or 3 attempts.

I have the latest Native Access 2 .. all my path ways are correct, other instruments install correctly But the Kontakt Library 2 wont install correctly .. Evewn when I do a work around by passing NA and installing it from the folder it was downloaded to, and then confirming the location in NA.. Beyond Frustrating..

Took me many attempts to get the same library installed. Very frustrating for a 40gb file. Have you tried deleting the .iso file from the download folder and remove any partial files from the content folder and then Native Access 2 should give you the option to re-download and install again.

Basically NA downloads the content to one of my drives.. Native Access then fails to install.. so I install it the old fashion way assigning the content to the proper folder NA is looking for... Once it is installed I go back into NA and press the Locate button.... it finds the proper pathway and then says success` its installed ... But yet it really isnt... Because when I load Kontakt 7 within my Daw and click on an instrument within Kontakt 7 library 2 .. it gives me that wonderful notification `this instrument belongs to a library that is not installed ... EEESHHHH

I havent had issues so much with the download , as I have with NA installing the instrument.. Usally the larger files Like the session guitar stuff.. Always had to do a work around... I`m on the 4th time trying to install KFL2 ..

Hi, I have the strange situation, that I have bought Spitfire Chamber Strings Essentials, downloaded it through Spitfire's software and added the serial number of the product in Native Access. I also appears as a library in Native Access, yet does not appear in the list of Kontakt Libraries.

If I search for a preset of Spitfire Chamber Strings Essentials, it appears in the Kontakt Player Browser, I can load the instrument and it works fine. But it still bugs me, that it's not listed in the library list. It's even listed in the options window under "libraries". The other Spitfire library I installed using the same paths installation paths shows up in the Kontakt Player library list.

I guess it's not too bad, since I can still use the library with the work around I described, but would still appreciate if anyone know how to set it up correctly. I have already tried doing the steps described here:

For a while now I have noticed that the Factory Library 2 is not showing in the browser. If I navigate to the file locations, I can load it. What am I missing here? Has the 2nd library been merged with the first, as the original factory library is shown in the left panel. 152ee80cbc
