Zwierzyniec, located in the heart of the Roztocze region, is a unique town known for its picturesque landscapes, rich natural heritage, and harmonious blend of cultural tradition and nature. Surrounded by the forests of Roztocze National Park, it provides an ideal setting for reflecting on the relationships between humans and the environment—key themes of our conference.
The town is famous for attractions such as the “church on the water,” the Echo Ponds, the historic forest settlement of Florianka, and its unique complexes of ponds and fir forests. Zwierzyniec offers a peaceful atmosphere conducive both to scientific work and to direct contact with nature, making it a perfect backdrop for discussions on shared spaces and sustainable development.
