I've had the opportunity to teach LIN200 - Intro to Language under Professor Alan Munn's supervision, here at Michigan State University. I've also been a TA for LIN401 - Intro to Linguistics under Professor Cristina Schmitt. Both courses introduce the building blocks of language and are centered around the question of what it is that we know when we know a language. The courses look at the very components that form the structure of any language - phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and so on.
