My approach is rooted in a simple but updated belief: "Teach a person to fish, but first, ensure they have a fish to eat today and access to the pond tomorrow."
While the classic proverb holds truth, it ignores two critical realities:
Some people need a fish right now to survive.
Others know how to fish but lack access to the pond, the rod, or a fair chance.
I focus on the more accurate question: How do we equitably equip the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs with lasting skills and the immediate tools to use them?
This mission became clear during my time at the International Rescue Committee and ACCESS nonprofit, where I taught digital literacy to underserved entrepreneurs. I saw firsthand that when struggling business owners receive both immediate tools and sustainable knowledge, their businesses transform from surviving to thriving.
With 14 years of experience in web design, media production, and marketing strategy, I specialize in bridging the gap between technical skills and real-world business needs. My diverse background allows me to teach, coach, and create with both empathy and practical expertise.
