Water, the source of vast life on earth astonishes humans in every way possible. From lakes on land to wrathful cyclones in Sky, it influences all life forms on Earth. Preserve water.
Welcome to my website.
I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Georgia's Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. My present work focuses on evaluating the accuracy of SeaHawk/HawkEye remote sensing data and derived products. obtained my Ph.D. from the Center of Studies in Resources Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. During my Ph.D. i worked on the retrieval of Inherent Optical Properties from deep and shallow water remote sensing data using semi - analytical algorithms. I conducted field sampling for water quality at Mumbai coastal waters and Ujani Reservoir of Maharashtra, India. I am one of the 21 students selected for training at 2018 IOCCG summer lecture series held at Observatoire Océanologique de Villefranche (OOV), Villefranche - sur - Mer, France. My research interests include water quality parameter retrieval from satellite imagery, Hyperspectral remote sensing, Machine Learning and optimization algorithms.
