About K-BioX
K-BioX is a vibrant global network uniting Korean life scientists and emerging scientific leaders across generations and continents. In 2016, Professor Kyung-oh Jung, along with 10 Ph.D.s from Stanford, co-founded K-BioX, a networking organization for the next generation of life scientists. He currently serves as a member of its steering committee.
From high school students to university scholars, researchers, professors, entrepreneurs, and investors, K-BioX connects a dynamic and diverse community through its on/offline platform. Through global summits, mentoring programs, institutional partnerships, and knowledge-sharing initiatives—both online and offline—K-BioX is driving the future of life science through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable exchange.
Vision of K-BioX
Under the goal of "Nurturing talent in life sciences through a global industry-academia-research academy and innovative education," K-BioX leads a bio-innovation platform based on the "Anteambulo" spirit.
To achieve this, K-BioX continuously operates global online seminars, mentoring programs, annual academic summits, awards for emerging researchers, science popularization projects, and collaborative initiatives with domestic and international institutions. Since its establishment in September 2020, K-BioX has connected 15,113 (as of October 2025, based on Slack) Korean life scientists worldwide and operates a real-time innovation communication platform based on its global network.
