Kohei Ohno received the B.E. M.E. and Dr. E. degrees in electrical engineering from Meiji University, Japan, in 2002, 2004, and 2008, respectively.
From 2008 to 2013, he was an assistant professor at Tokyo University of Science. In 2013, he joined the School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences at Meiji University, and he has been an associate professor since 2017. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands.
He received the Yokosuka Research Park Award in 2004, ITS World Congress Outstanding Paper Award in 2010, IEEE VTS Japan Chapter Young Researcher's Encouragement Award in 2007, IEEE ICCE2011 Second Best Paper in TV Tech. in 2011, Niwa-Takayanagi paper Award in 2014, IEICE Contributions Award in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2023.
His major areas of interest include wireless communication, modulation, ultra-wideband radio systems, and intelligent transport systems.
Dr. Ohno is a member of IEICE, ITE, and a senior member of IEEE.
