The career I decided to pursue is one in engineering, although I do not know what the specifics are. Both of my grandfathers were engineers and they have both influenced my decision, but the main factor was probably the 2010 era laptop that I borrowed from my father. I decided that this career was right for me back around the end of 2025 to the start of 2026.
The classes I've taken that will help me are half a semester of CADD and half a semester of Engineering. A program of study I have taken to assist me is high school Atex, where you can experience different college courses as a high school student. I have learnt at the tech center certain skills that will help me on the path I want to take, like how to use auto CAD, and solidworks as well.
I have participated in extracurricular activities like the Marching Band, and in doing so I have learnt the importance of following directions in order to complete the said assignment, or as not to slow down progress. As of right now I have participated in one activity outside of school, that being tinkering with dad’s 2011 asus tf101. I have not been employed, other than cutting people's grass for 10 bucks.
After graduation, my immediate plans are to go to college. I would like to tell you the name of my top college, but I don't remember the name or location. After high school I'm hoping to go to a 4 year college, although I am hoping to have an apprenticeship during my senior year of high school/ my second year of engineering. My plan may change with time because things always change. I will try my best to keep up my skills in the period between high school and college.
