We are the St. Benedict's Knights of Columbus Council # 8337. We have 70 members on our active member roster. We were chartered as a council on May 5, 1983. We hold a membership meeting at 6:45 PM on the 1st Thursday of the each month, except July and August, at St. Benedict Church at 1419 St. Benedict St, Duluth. MN 55811, to pray the rosary and to plan our council's activities.
Our local council evaluates the needs of our parish and local community and implements those programs and activities that are most needed. Our Faith in Action Program is designed to engage our council members in good works and fundraising for charitable giving activities in the Faith in Action categories of Faith, Family, Community and Life.
A Knights of Columbus council can work wonders; in fact, with its many programs and activities, it can help change the community, town, city or neighborhood in which we live. However, a successful Knights of Columbus program depends on people taking initial ideas, modifying them to suit specific situations and local needs and, then, implementing them. This website shows how we, in faith, plan and implement our programs in support of our families, parish, and local community.
