Faith in Action

Faith: Our goal is to strengthen men and their families in the Catholic faith. Formation in our faith goes beyond mere facts or religious practice to an authentic connection with a loving God and his son Jesus Christ.

Eucharistic Procession: Br. Enrique Davenport
- 2024: Eucharistic procession in partnership with local parishes

National Eucharistic Congress: Br. Enrique Davenport
- 2024: Br. Enrique Davenport delegate to the 10th National Eucharistic Congress and continues work as coordinator of Eucharistic Revival
Dynamic Catholic Institute Parish Book Program: Br. Alexander Rullo
- 2025: Handed out DCI books at Christmas Vigil Mass to help parishioners re-engage with their faith.

Family: Father McGivney sought to strengthen the bonds of families in his parish and the Knights of Columbus. These programs, created for families by families, help us to live this call.

Good Friday Family Promotion: Br. Alex Rullo
- 2024: Good Friday Family participation encouraged and promoted at all Lenten Fish Frys
Memorial Rosary for the Faithful Departed: PGK Ken Torok
- 2025: Fort Rosecrans Cemetery Memorial Rosary

Community: Knights are called to serve others. Our first principle is Charity – at home with our families and in our communities. When Knights of Columbus members come together they accomplish great things.

- Annual: Fish Fries held every Friday during Lent for the Parishioners of Mission San Diego de Alcala
Oktoberfest: Br. Ken Torok
- Annual: Oktoberfest fellowship event held for the Parishioners of Mission San Diego de Alcala

Life: The Knights of Columbus vigorously defends the dignity of each human being at every stage of life.

San Diego Walk for Life: PGK Ken Torok
- 2024: Mission Knights, Columbiettes and parishioners participated in the San Diego Walk for Life

Christian Refugee Relief: Br. Alex Rullo
- 2024: $100 raised for the Christian Refugee Relief Fund
Special Olympics: Br. Alex Rullo
- 2025: Volunteer Support of Special Olympics of Southern California Fall Games Championiship
