The Respect the Sword program serves as a bridge between the Knights who no longer participate in Color Corp activities and the newer, younger Knights who wish to be more involved in the order. The ceremonial sword, carried by Sir Knights, symbolizes the mission of our order to be the strong right arm of the Church.
Prior to the January 27th meeting, a ceremonial sword, donated to Assembly 2683 by SK Gerald W Saber, was gifted to SK Harold Lopez.
Also, a white handled officer's sword was presented to SK Pat Dexter for his service to the Assembly as Past Faithful Navigator.
