Hello, my name is Kodjo Richardson, I'm a professional videographer from the Northern Virginia/DC area. I have been producing videography work for years now with a multitude of different clients, in different settings, and shooting various types of media. I shoot on a Sony A6700 and I've also worked with Blackmagic, and Lumix cameras, I've developed different variations of my A6700 camera rig to cover just about any type of shoot.
Whether the purpose of your video is to attract attention to your business, capture your favorite memories, tell an impactful story, or anything in between, my purpose is to execute that goal to the highest quality possible. Furthermore, it is my promise to you that I will fulfill that goal to the best of my ability- every time!
I have shot all types of Sports Videography (Football, Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, and Volleyball) and I've filmed in levels from Beginner Children, to Varsity, to Division 1.
I've worked in Short Films in many roles over many years (Assistant Director, Director of Photography, Chief Editor, etc.) winning awards in local festivals and I continue to increase the scale, production quality, and outreach of my films as I progress.
In Event Videography I've shot Weddings, Fashion Runways, Family Events, and more, I've been complemented on my ability to disappear into the crowd to capture the true essence of the event without even being noticed.
Finally, Promotional Videography is another addition to my repertoire of gifts. I've worked in Product Promotion, Fundraising Videos, and College Commitment Announcements. Whatever it is, if the goal is to build excitement over something then I'm your guy.
