1. DATA MINIMALISM Basium: Habit Tracker follows a "privacy-by-design" philosophy. We do not require accounts, emails, or personal identifiers to use the App.

2. ON-DEVICE STORAGE All challenge progress, history, and settings are stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. The Author cannot see, access, or recover this data. If you delete the App or lose your phone, your data is permanently lost.

3. THIRD-PARTY PROCESSING

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions. They use an anonymous "App User ID" to track your purchase status. No personal identity or credit card info is shared with the Author.

• Apple/Google: Payments are handled entirely by the respective App Store.

4. LOCAL NOTIFICATIONS The App schedules reminders locally on your device. Your notification times and custom messages are never sent to a server.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since no data is collected globally, we are compliant with standard privacy regulations (COPPA/GDPR).

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By downloading or using Basium: Habit Tracker (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPER DISCLOSURE You acknowledge that Basium is developed and maintained by an individual developer ("Author"). You agree that all interactions are with the Author in their individual capacity.

3. "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" WARRANTY Basium is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE". The Author makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App’s reliability, streak accuracy, or notification delivery. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Maximum Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Author’s total liability for any claims—including negligence—is limited to the actual amount paid by you for the App or Pro features.

• Consequential Damages: The Author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or "special" damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of streaks, or emotional distress.

• Third-Party Failures: The Author is not responsible for failures caused by RevenueCat, Apple/Google App Stores, or device OS updates.

5. DEFINITION OF "LIFETIME" ACCESS "Lifetime Unlock" refers to the functional lifespan of the App version you purchased. The Author reserves the right to discontinue the App or stop updates at any time without a refund. It does not mean the duration of the user’s biological life.

6. GOVERNING LAW AND ARBITRATION Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the Author’s local jurisdiction. You waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK By using Basium, you voluntarily assume all risks related to changes in your physical or mental routines. The Author is not responsible for any injury, health complications, or psychological distress resulting from following the App’s suggested paths.

3. NO GUARANTEES While the App uses research-inspired frameworks to build discipline, individual results vary. The Author does not guarantee that using the App will result in improved health, fitness, or life outcomes.
