It all starts in July 2019. In short, both my brother and my father are suffering of an inborn heart disease.
It is called OSTRUCTIVE HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY.
My father had heart surgery in 2010 and his life improved after the surgery.
I had the same heart surgery in 2016 and they saved my life.
My brother was supposed to join me in Italy in August 2019 to undergo the same surgery and nally improve his life, being able to enjoy the rest of his life with his 2 children and a wonderful partner.
All this had not happened!
Unfortunately, my brother had a heart attack in July 2019. After calling for help, between the arrival of the paramedics and the '' lost '' time trying to understand what happened, it's been too long. Nothing could save my brother anymore.
Unfortunately, he left behind a 6-year-old doughter and a 9-month-old baby boy.
I've always asked myself these questions:
What if the rescuers had known about his illness? What if they tried to revive him right away?
What if they operated on him? How would it go?
In life, we are not allowed to gamble with our life. To my questions above, I tried to answer with just eliminating those questions, hoping the next one which happens in the same situation, the rescuers have all the information immediately increasing the possibility that the same will be saved.
