St. Leonard Murialdo Council awards two annual scholarships in the amount of $500 each, one to students attending high school and one to students attending college or university. Please see below for fill-able PDFs of the Scholarship Application Form and the Letter of Recommendation Form. PLEASE NOTE: the last 2 pages of the Scholarship Application are FOR REFERENCE ONLY (one is how the Scholarships will be scored, and the other is a courtesy copy of the Letter of Recommendation Form).
To apply for the Scholarships, please submit the following documents to the Council Scholarship Email Address (scholarship10667@gmail.com) by the APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 31ST 2026:
Scholarship Application Form, completely filled out with all requested info (incomplete applications may not be considered).
Essay (typed, double spaced, in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx or Adobe Acrobat .PDF formats)
Letters of Recommendation (if not filled in on fill-able PDF form below, can also be typed, double spaced, in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx or Adobe Acrobat .PDF formats with all relevant information.) Incomplete letters of recommendation also may not be considered. It would be helpful if, when they saved it to email it to us, they emailed it with the applicant's name (e.g. "'Applicant Name' Letter of Recommendation" in subject line of email) , but when they type it, they use "Applicant".
*IF for any reason, the fill-able PDFs do not work for you (i.e. you cannot type in relevant fields), try downloading them, there should be an icon in the upper right corner of the page, and then reopen the downloaded copy. That should allow you to type in the fill-able fields. If it does not SAVE what you type in the fill-able fields, try "Save As", rename it (like with your name and "Filled", e.g. "John Smith Filled"), then try reopening the new copy. Hopefully that should fix it.
