KOBI NAZRUL SHISHUNIKETAN

KOBI NAZRUL SHISHUNIKETAN  was established in 2013 and it is managed by the pvt. Aided. It is located in Mangalkhali Village near Jubarajnagar, Dharmanagar, North Tripura. The school consists of grades from Nursery to Class 5. The school is Co-educational . This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in April.

FOUNDER'S  MESSAGE

Starting school is a very important time for young children and we aim to make it a happy and exciting event. You will receive notice in plenty of time if a place becomes available for your child to start school.

At Kobi Nazrul Shishuniketan we welcome children into school from the beginning of the school year in which they have their third birthday until the end of the school year in which they become eleven years old. This is the time at which they transfer to high school.

We want every child to progress and blossom into the best that they can be. Our teachers and staff are hand-picked and trained with regular educational seminars and workshops to ensure the highest quality of teaching. We always maintain a special bond with every child as the teachers take a personal interest in each child's growth and development. I extend my sincere wishes to all who are working for quality education and a better tomorrow.

Before your child starts in reception you will be invited to make informal visits to school. This will enable your child to meet the other children in their class along with their class teacher, teaching assistant, Headteacher and other members of staff.

The very high standards of learning and teaching are a credit to the hard work of both the staff and pupils. We are equally proud of the atmosphere in our school, it is one of friendliness, caring and cooperation and this is always evident. Many visitors to the school comment on the warm welcome they receive and the politeness and good behaviour of our pupils.

Aims of Our School

As members of Kobi Nazrul Shishuniketan we aim to:

• Provide a broad, stimulating faith-based curriculum, which will afford opportunities for all to become confident individuals, successful learners, responsible citizens and effective contributors.

• Ensure that all are helped to achieve their full potential by instilling confidence, valuing each other's contributions and encouraging a responsible attitude towards the promotion of healthy living both in school and in the wider community

• Maintain a stimulating learning environment where all can see the relevance of what is being learned and taught and are motivated to approach problems and new ideas with a "can-do" attitude

• Support the needs of individuals and encourage all to become effective contributors and responsible citizens of the school and wider community

• Foster positive behaviour, focusing strongly on a culture of celebrating success, where all are responsible for their actions

Curriculum

Education in the early years is vitally important for the children to acquire basic skills. It is important that foundations are laid on which future learning can take place. If children are well motivated, enthusiastic, interested and happy then they learn more effectively. We aim to develop these skills in a creative, imaginative and original way.

The children need to learn in an atmosphere where they are not afraid to make mistakes and this in turn becomes an important part of the learning process. Each child will be encouraged to reach their highest potential and motivated to want to continue learning.

In Reception the children follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum.

In Key Stage One and Two the National Curriculum is followed.
