KO15 Part 3
May 20th to september 20th
May 20th to september 20th
Coming back in the time for garden work and landscaping - most of the leveled areas from before I left for school were just planted with grass in the weekend, the garden started to get planted with vegestables and fruit trees, and a room was made so we can build a growth house also.
Cleaning the outdoor kitchen and cutting down the efeu growing from the nabos yard.
June
An old camper that had all taken out, and will be fully restored, directly outside the office, kitchen and terrasse.
Aswell as preparing the camper itself, we prepare the terrasse to get remade by removing the foundation for the septik tanks that was here back in the days, as the base of the concrete fits with the wall, if the plan of a either a leveled concrete terrasse or a wooden one gets made, aswell a walkway from the entrance to terasse and camper.
Starting clearing up the front garden and planning to make it into a rhododendron garden, as it will shield good toward the kennels, aswell as keep weed away as most of it dont like sour earth beds and several pine trees grow in the visinity and will help maintain the sour earth when they drop their needles.
Guest - from june 9th to june 29th 3 carpenter students will visit the hof, unfortunately we have been unlucky with the weather, its been raining like crazy, even hail for a few minutes when we were siteseing in Lubeck. But we go ahead and start the bases for the work they are here to try, making a garden house, a outdoor bath for a tinyhouse, also terasse and siting for the tinyhouse and perhaps a base for a yurt.

Cleaning the boss`s house. Cleaning the roof for algea, painting the terasse with oil and all around weed removal inside and outside
Gardenwork at the rentals - grasscutting, hedgecutting and general cleaning. Prepping for an easy winter service aswell, cutting things low and thin, so we can work well during the winter, last year everything was kept more wild and made winter service even harder.
Cleaning up and prepping for the first guest to use the tin house and yurt, which will start in end off August, aswell as some parties in September in the big hall. Also clearing for winter safe storage for cars and caravans.
September
For the Yurt guest and the people using the big rooms in the main house for parties, we got a container bathcar, used for company use, that we first of all cleaned and installed, connecting to power, water and sewage, and then when the guest season is over it will be painted and clad in boarding to match the outdoor bath.
Its not super beautifull yet, but does the job and was approved by the first guest using it in the beginning of September, which have had so beautifull weather so far we get bookings all the time for people wanting to enjoy some freetime before summer ends.
And also we started installing new bigger windows in the main house and office/kitchen, which will bring in alot of light.
Also starting to strenghtening the roads up and down with grass, also to give the roads better water soaking as the gravel roads atm leads alot of water
Made into grass roads.
We also got a playhouse for kids and so far 2 boats that will be used as sand boxes in different layers if the plans work out.
