본 연구는 금융, 특허 등 전문분야에 대한 지식자원과 빅데이터를 수집하고 자가 학습과 자가 검증을 통하여 지식베이스가 확장된다. 이와 관련하여 자연어 이해를 통한 심층 학습 기반의 대화체 질의응답을 위한 대화 모델을 개발한다.
This research collects knowledge resources and big data on specialized fields such as finance and patents, and extends the knowledge base through self-learning and self-verification. In this regard, we develop a dialogue model for dialogue query response based on deep learning through understanding natural language.

(Smart Summary Report Generation from Big Data Related to a Topic, 2016.4 ~ 2021.12, Manager)
본 연구는 빅데이터의 분석을 통해 특정 주제에 대한 지식을 이해할 수 있도록 도와주는 스마트 요약 보고서 생성 기술을 개발한다. 이를 위해, 다중 소스 데이터를 분석하여 보고서 형태로 서술하기 위한 가장 적합한 형 태로 정보를 재표현할 수 있는 기술을 개발한다.

This research develops smart summary report generation technology that helps understanding knowledge of a specific topic through analysis of big data. To do this, we develop a technique for re-expressing information in the most appropriate form for analyzing multi-source data and describing it in report form.

본 과제는 기계가 사람과 같이 새로운 지식을 학습하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 사람이 기계에 주입하는 지식에 더해, 웹으로부터 새로운 지식을 자동으로 축적하는 방법을 연구한다.
This project aims to make a machine learn new knowledge like human. Beyond what we teach the machine, we study methods to accumulate new knowledge from the Web automatically.
