Imagine. Imagine you have great programming. Right in your fingertips. A whole entertainment library of great content. And it’s revolutionary. It’s a YouTube channel with over 100 subscribers, followers, and fans. It’s called, KNKJ Channel 55. After 4 years of silence, the true story of my YouTube channel can finally be told.
I first started uploading videos on my mom’s channel. I had at least 20 videos. But mom thought they weren’t good enough and she deleted a lot of them. She kept a few videos on there, but the rest never saw the light of day again. Not long after that, my 2 tablets broke down and had to be fixed. But that’s when fate came knocking on my door. My mom gave me a new Google account once they came back. That meant I had my own YouTube channel all to myself. I took to my room in excitement thinking about all of the things I was going to upload and post. All of a sudden, I had an idea. There was this user named Tobia Browder (I’m not sure if he’s still on YouTube), and he inspired me through 3 videos he uploaded in 2014. I loved his videos. So every time I had my snack (Mini Wheats), I would get on my tablet, go to YouTube, and go to Tobia’s channel and watch his videos. It's something I'd like to call ”Tobia Time.” Browder uploaded 3 videos of his fictional station Nick Jr 55. That’s right, fictional. I knew he could do better than that. So on April 16, 2016, I made my YouTube debut with a video called Nick Jr 55 news. It was about a news anchor named Robin Gregor, who was taking place for Tobia Browder. After the video was uploaded, I went on Hangouts and texted Tobia. This is what I texted:Hi Tobia! I see you are very interested in tv. I made a Nick Jr 55 video just for you! I hope you see it. Bye! I felt good. From that day forward I would continued to bring videos everyone loves. My YouTube channel was called KNKJ Channel 55 North Brunswick-San Mateo or “KNKJ Channel 55” or “KNKJ” for short. Today I have over 200 subscribers and celebrating my channel´s 4 year anniversary. April and May are considered “The Months of KNKJ” because those were the months that my YouTube channel started on. To this day i still bring programming for everyone to enjoy.
