As a child I had a nickel allergy, which meant I could only wear specialized jewelry and the hassle eventually took the fun out of accessories. Once my aunt taught me how to knit, I began to make my own accessories and gifting them to family and friends. As I grew older and built upon this hobby, I became incredibly invested in the environmental aspect.
